If she can’t afford it, she won’t buy it. If it doesn’t fit (or make her feel good, or flaunt what she’s got), she won’t wear it. If she can’t find it, she won’t compromise. If she loves it, she won’t toss it. She reuses it, rethinks it, lets it age.
When a French girl shops, it isn’t a solitary act of buying something new. It’s part of a lifelong process of editing her environment, making small but meaningful additions to her home, her closet, her life.
When you shop like a French girl, you buy only one of anything – and make sure it’s the best quality you can afford.

Obsessed with:
*Amelie and her FOUR! new front teeth! (two top, two bottom), and all things Amelie in general.
*Striped tops and red lipstick, so pretty! (picture via A Cup Of Jo).
*Jordan's Year in Paris. I'm so inspired, I've added Live in Europe for at least six months to my "Things to do with Amelie" list.
*Birthday parties.
*Gwyneth Style.
*This perfect outfit from BB Dakota.
*Tazo Chai Lattes. So Good and Soo many carbs it's become a bittersweet relationship.

This lovely image broke my heart in a thousand little pieces.
It belongs to Ryan Marshall from Pacing the Panic Room, a blog that became famous because of Ryan's beautiful pictures documenting the pregnancy of his gorgeous wife Cole.Well, imaging my surprise when I saw this pic of Cole (sans belly) and Tessa (already so grown up!), and it made me think of my own little one and how fast time passes.
I wish the Marsahll's the best, and let me go now and hug and kiss my babe ad infinitum, before time does it deeds. And in Ryan's own magical words: "All the love in the Universe"....
