Sugar and Spice and everything nice... Eric is officially the king of the house, since we found out today we'll be having a little girl come Spring!
We're more than ready for lots of twirling, shopping excursions and pajama parties. Also for soccer practice, fishing trips with daddy and story time with mommy.
Not so much for boyfriends and dates...(thank God that's a long time coming!).

To my darling family, my beautiful friends and the wonderful people that read my little blog: I hope you all have a fantastic Holiday, surrounded by everyone you love; And that gratitude crowds your hearts, not only tomorrow but each and every day.
Personally, everything I could be thankful for seems cloudy and distant compared to the joy of carrying a little life. I still (and I think I will forever) pray everyday to God, thanking him for this gift. I've never felt more Blessed, Special and Lucky.
Finally thanks and a million kisses to my closest friends, who have showered me and the babe with so much love, from Santo Domingo, to Barcelona, to Basel, to West Virginia. Thank you, I love you all too.

A very special post today, number 100Th!
Actually, there is another reason that makes this post the most especial ever:
We're expecting a baby!! He/She is due in Spring of 2010. Eric and I can't wait and are incandescently happy.
The pregnancy is part of the cause of my long convalescence, but everything seems minimal compared to the joy of seeing the little one's face in a very near future.

Fall is finally here, thank God!, and with it some of my favorite things: cardigans, crisp early morning air, new school supplies everywhere, rust/burnt colors, the promise of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. To top it all off, I just got the above lovely "scattered petals" camisole (which I've been patiently stalking for a while) for, wait for it, 20 dollars! Saved about 70 on it! Everything does improves in the Fall Season indeed, even my luck!

Hello, is there someone out there that simply adores me and is thinking of a most improbable but yet delicious way to make me deliriously happy?

Well, think no more! I have the answer right here: "Zara's Tales" by Peter Beard would be a lovely addition to my library (that's his daughter in the front cover with her pet boar in Kenya).
